Rink Markers

If you are the first member to arrive at any of the three sessions you will need to change the rink markers if they are not already on the correct colour. The rink markers are changed daily and the direction every six days. It is essential for these changes to be made to minimise green wear. Please see below for instructions on how to achieve the change(s).

Please go to the PC in the clubhouse and move the mouse or press the space bar to wake up the screen if necessary. See the image above. The green bar will show the direction and rink colour that should be set. In this case Tennis courts and colour is red. The tennis courts direction is from the clubhouse towards the tennis courts. If you see ‘Chucks Meadow’ the direction is from the gazebos to the playground.

The colours are embedded into the backboard edges. They start from green and end in red. The single marker (see above) should be placed on the new colour. The number marker on the next occurrence of the colour. Repeat this for all rink

All colours must start from the corner of the green by the main gate progressing either towards Chuck Meadow or the tennis courts depending on the direction report on the PC. If you see the current marker is red it is essential you start again from green in this corner.
